Damn it, Prince William! Why do you keep locking the original threads and insisting they go in this section? Nobody ever puts it here but you, lol. I love you and all, but I had a big thing all typed up (under all the other posts about lastnight) about some drama and when I tried to submit it, you had locked it. If everybody else likes it over there, why do you keep moving it? Grrrr

Please tell me somebody else saw the drama going on right in front of Page at the end of the 2nd set/encore?!
These 2 (IMO) douchebags were front row under Page for at least the 2nd set. I didn’t notice if they were there 1st set. The chick was a preppy looking brunette with a strapless top and tig ol’ bitties who was like dirty dancing on the rail and kept holding up a fecking “Let Me Lie” sign. Who does that? She was with a short-haired, kinda stocky/pudgy guy in a greenish shirt and kakhi hat who looked at least mid 30’s. He kept holding up a “Frankenstein PLZ” sign.
Anywho, it was either the very last song of 2nd set or the start of the encore, this tall guy in a red hat and shirt got up behind them and wanted to squeeze in between them just for the end of the show. I mean, those people had been there the entire show. I thought it was customary to rotate out and let others get a turn, but thet weren’t having it. They got pissed, locked arms, and grabbed onto the rail to keep him from getting in. He kept trying and they kept fighting him until eventually the khaki hat guy (who had to be close to a foot shorter than the other guy) shoved him pretty hard to one side. Over the course of the next few minutes (I don’t remember the particular order of events) there were a few pushes all by the short stocky guy and some angry word exchanges. The tall guy was never on the offensive.
Finally security gets involved but is apparently taking the side of the 2 douches in the front row. The wannabe front rower is pretty dumbfounded that they are taking sides with them as the guy in the kahki hat has pushed the tall guy SEVERAL times at this point with the guy always throwing his hands up as if to say, “I’m not getting violent with you, chill” I could tell tall guy kept mouthing angrily to security while pointing to his eyes, “Are you blind, I know you saw that!” He even spent 30 seconds or so gesturing and pleading to Trey who was singing, “Tell him you saw that! Didn’t you see that?”
So it goes on well into the encore and finally tall guy gets fed up and starts to walk away into the crowd but not before he reaches back with his long ass arm and grabs the guy’s hat revealing his MASSIVE bald spot haha. So bald guy is pissed as shit and tries to go after the guy, but he’s already too far away at this point and disappears into the crowd. Bald guy spent the rest of the show talking to security, so in a way, the tall guy got the last laugh: he ruined the show for them.
Now I’m sure most of you would side with the people in the front row, but I was sitting behind Page and was nausiated at her dancing and her stupid sign. Plus, her friend’s reaction was WAY over the top. There was plenty of room for that guy to squeeze in for the last song or two. It wouldn’t have killed them to endulge him as they had plenty of time up there. He was trying to be nice and reason with the guy who just wanted to get violent. The tall guy wasn’t some fucked up wook stumbling all over everybody. He just wanted to rock out for the last song or two and they were complete and total asses about it. I looked for tall guy while we were filing out hoping to hi-five him for his efforts, but I never saw him. I would have liked to run into his nemesis as well so I could tell them how they were as much to blame as he was for being so selfish.

People it the front row were in the right (they were there first)…and if she had big ta ta’s like you said…I’m sure page did not mind. 
And who gives a shit what people look like or how they dress?? You might be missing the whole point of a phish show.

As I said, I figured people would side with them, but don’t come at me with comments like I missed the point of seeing shows. I’ve been doing this a long time and have seen lots of changes most of which I can’t fucking stand…but I still go anyway because I’m there for the MUSIC and so I tolerate all that other bullshit because I DO get the point. So there
And I said it was a great show, but you wouldn’t know that because it was in the OTHER thread which is now locked. 2001 was my favorite out of all the ones I’ve seen and C&P was definitely tits. So double there

I know this is the newest sub-forum, but it could be my favorite part of the whole board. Moderators are able to use BBCode, but us peons are stuck with ugly looking quotes, links, youtubes, etc.
