I listened to this twice yesterday…right in a row. Literally after GTBT went right back to My Soul. That in itself is saying something. I think this is the best show they’ve played since 2000…easily. The low point of the show to me is Tela. That also says quite a bit.
Did you just say that last night’s Phish concert was their best concert since 1.0? And easily? Aren’t you the guy who was whining with me about first night Hartford this year?! I think I’m not really prepared for tonight’s show. Anyone know where I can score anti-face-melt-cream? Needs me my face, you know?
Yes I was, that’s why I still can’t believe how good it was. Also why I had to listen to it twice. Easily. I’m sure lots will disagree, but it’s my kind of show.
I really agree here with some of the above comments. I probably listened to that Bowie 3-4 times yesterday, and didn’t get sick of it. That version (from what I have listened to) is the best of 3.0, and a great vision of things to come. So good. SO damn good.
Just noticed a DEG tease from Page about 40-50 seconds in to the Bowie…
Wowowowowowowowowowowowow… this show is incredible. GUYUTICA!
Yea man a kid and no money these days, just had taxes due for $1,800, so my bank account is drained and I am going to 2 nights in AC.
I really wish I went, but it really wasn’t doable.
Yep, still listening to this show, last night was great as well. But Utica is still on repeat for me
Utica will now be on permanent repeat for me
Piper contained a BoaF tease. In between Piper->SoaMelt, I heard a 2001 tease from Fish.
Listened to the Bowie like 4-5 times on the way to and from Amherst. And another time or two staying there.
Guyuuuuuuutica!!!
I haven’t been able to skip past the Stealing Time once since I listened to the download… man they just nailed that!
Bowie has been on repeat, as has Wolfman’s form this show
Of the 18 shows I’ve been fortunate enough to witness, this felt like a peak experience. The creativity and playfulness was in high gear.
Man, this Antelope is rolling, glassy, smooth. ![]()
Utica still on repeat for me… just started through yet again…
Dear Santa,
I want this show for Christmas.
Bring a thumb drive to 337 Nat Sci sometime.
