That set two is MYYYY kinda set (could prolly do without the Mike’s though. Just a great straight up Phish show.

the jam and lights at the end of Sanity were incredible…
Love me a First Tube encore…
This is a good first set as far as first sets go. Nothing mind-blowing but sounds great. The second set is really good but still kind of lacks something. My biggest beef would have been to let the RnR develop a little more…they got to a really cool place with the jam and it was still pushing in different directions but then Trey busted out the Carini chords. Then the Light>Char Zero>2001>Loving Cup, First Tube just doesn’t really do it for me. The Light jam is kind of neat but ends abruptly again. The jam in Character Zero was kind of different though which is cool, so maybe it’s just the 2001>Loving Cup and First Tube encore that don’t do it for me. I love seeing them play 2001 in 3.0, but as it doesn’t really go anywhere it doesn’t pack the same punch on a recording. I guess I’m bitching, but still I would have much rather have been there than sitting on my couch doing homework last Friday night.
