This show is awesome. Curtain>Jim is a killer way to open a show and the Melt and YEM also kill in the first set. The second set opens with a still standard 2001 but the DWD that follows continues to take that jam into new places, somewhat building on the Clifford Ball DWD jam. I love the Taste, Mango combination. I think Swept>Steep works great in lieu of Hydrogen and the jam btw Mike’s and Swept is awesome. The Weekapaug probably loses some of its lustre on tape as you can’t watch the dancers but there are a few minutes of machine gun Trey so it still smokes. I’m not a fan of the encore here due to the crowd heckling from Merl Saunders. Lame.
