A few thoughts/comments on this show from the setlist thread:

Opening trio was sweet. I liked Tweeprise closing the first set instead of a Sleeping Monkey>Tweeprise encore. Maze, although relatively tame, contained some unorthodox soloing. Did anyone else hear Mike tease Boogie On during the Disease jam?

^ nope, but I totally heard it during the drums and bass portion of YEM.

Finished listening to this for the first time yesterday. I was really impressed by this one. First set shone incredibly bright and I didn’t think that the second would match it but it most definitely did. I really like the segue into Halfway to the Moon. I have a feeling that song came into its own at this show. The Boogie On segue is also pretty sweet.

Sick Disease, especially Trey and Fish. Great placement for MFMF. Oddly, I keep relistening to HYHU. Trey sounds like he practices drumming and is really enjoying himself behind that kit.
Trey on guitar>Trey on Fish’s kit>Trey on keys>Trey on his mini kit.

Decent first set, much better second set. I thought the Piper, Hood, YEM set ender was great and the definite highlight.

I don’t know man … this is the best concert I ever dozed off to. I was incredibly tired at this show and literally couldn’t stay awake. [I love the included SBD download deal, you can’t beat it~!!]

But I listened today and I think it’s my current favorite 2010 show that I saw. I was in NH so it’s hard to say that!

Mike teases Curtain at the end of DWD! Harder to spot Mike’s teases than Trey’s, I almost missed it.

Incredible playing at this show. The Maze is so so good. The DWD, which is a song I don’t get too excited about, was really played with care. They’d played it at Providence the night before, I wonder if they just wanted to do it better or something. Cuz it’s real good in Amherst.

The YEM vocal jam was the only moment of the whole show that I was anxious for it to end. Just seemed like kind of a long uneventful vocal jam, I dunno. It was fine.

The setlist is so full of material that I love, and that’s got a lot to do with why I’m loving this show so much … nothing in this show makes me want to skip ahead. Especially the weird anticy first set! Just a wild way to do set one, presumably in honor of the archivist.

I give this thumb five stars up.

Oh! And Tweeprise has Meatstick lyrics by all three vocals, not just Trey. It sounds pretty planned & tight. What do you even call that? Meatstick reprise? Meeprise? Tweestickprise? The Meetzer? Reminds me of that four-Tweeprises-in-two-shows ordeal from early summer.

i still can’t stop listening to the caspian>half the way to the moon > boogie on. LOVE IT

I think this is a great, classic Hood. Good interplay and a nice buildup!

those were some of the more clever segues of the tour in my opinion. Loved that segment.

When is Mike teasing Curtain? Is it the descending phrase he plays a few times at the last 15 seconds of the DWD jam, and even for a few seconds over Trey’s MFMF build up?

The last part of the DWD jam has at least 2 minutes of alien funk. What is Trey using musically to play those disharmonious leads in the earlier tense part of the DWD jam?

The segue from Caspian to HWttM is haunting. I think they can free up room in future sets for a Page song. Lots of creepy music in the second set. :shifty:

After giving this middle section another relisten I think I’ve gained some new appreciation for it, dunno why I didn’t feel this way before
