I will be in the cities this weekend for my good buddies wedding on Friday. I will be seeing the Twins games on Saturday and Sunday!! Plus my friend wants to go to some rap show on Saturday–The People Under the Stairs. I said I’d go if he bought me a ticket.

THURSDAY
Here is one of me chillin by the cooler in Northwoods
I tried to get a night shot of String Cheese…we were ragin hard, and I wanted to capture it…this is pretty much what i was seeing anyway.
This is a fire blower with the Mutaytor…not my favorite show of the weekend, but very theatric and exciting nonetheless.
FRIDAY
Railroad Earth at the Barn Stage…great show, good vibes. It felt like a good old hippy hoedown.
Right after Railroad Earth, we headed down to see the Everyone Orchestra get EVERYONE really into it. One of the many highlights, in my mind, was the TLG-led “I’ve Got A Feeling”.
This is the Regina crew (l to r Scotty, Avery, and Erin) chillin during Stella Blue and having the time of their lives. This was easily the best performance I could possibly imagine Phil pulling off these days. Highlights were the Wheel > Shakedown > Passenger to end the first set, and Dark Star > Stars Go Blue > Dark Star > The Eleven > China Cat in the second set. Great Truckin’ Encore too…I thought this show would never end.

SATURDAY
Here is Matt’s ( relaxation3’s) South Dakota crew that were very cool and hospitable to us the whole time. They got us a sweet ass camping spot even though we rolled in very late on Friday. I wish I knew there names a bit better, but Matt could help out there I’m sure. Good people…send 'em our love Matt.

A shot of the crowd during GRAB. People were getting down hard. I can’t view there being many better GRAB shows this tour…in my mind this is the best Post-Phish Trey show ever. Erin made the comment to me the other week that “I think anyone who was at that show would have to agree that was the best show Trey ever played”…BTW, since going, she loves Trey and she loves phish.

And this is me by the end of the weekend…not good…I’m shaking this ticket boot like it’s alive and bellowing “FEED ME”…it was probably funnier from the other side, but I figured this picture is fucked enough taht I should show you all.
So that’s it in a nutshell…oh yeah one more…We saw this on the way home, just on a highway…I don’t know if you americans have these signs all over the country, but it’s not really advertising anything I can think of …well it only meant one thing to me at this point anyway.

Sweet pic’s for sure…I have a million memoires of the campgournd I called home that weekend. It just looks so much more like reality in the daylight. Teh other 999,999 memoires come from more of a far out perspective. A nice long break of sobriety was in store after 10K for me. Highlight of freakiness for me was the “woop woop” dance that was going on by me w/ “the pants” and cape and god knows what else. I just wish more where there to see it, b/c it was only a rare few.
At least we can all see Tube 47w/ yoda on 10K’s picture board. Classic ass shit!
