A very strong contender for best show of 2013. That 2nd set was straight fire. I hope they bring some of this heat with 'em to MSG.

Top 5 3.0 for this guy.

On paper I might look at this and say “meh” but “meh” was the furthest emotion from my mind while watching the simulcast last night. A few of my favorites dusted about (Bowie, Sand, Circus, Jim, Slave) but most of the songs played I am generally indifferent to. But they played them all so tight and with such euphoric energy and some wonderful type 2 jamming that they could have segued into “Friday” and I would have been cool with it.

Got a friend’s wedding to go to this afternoon but i may try to catch set 2. Fucking awesome tour!

Did anybody else hear Mike pushing for Tweezer during the “bush/kush” shenanigans in Makisupa?

We’re on a roll folks

This. Was at the show and I said the same thing about set two. If I could build my perfect set, probably none of those songs are on it, but it was just straight heat from beginning to end.

Just wanted to come back in here and reiterate my affection and love for this show.

This entire run was just ape shit banana titties through and through.

I have not come home from a run of shows and gone right to the computer to load up my phone with music.

I went ahead and through Reading/Woostah and Hampton 3 on there for good measure.

This run though, was just some good old school porno-funk laced goofiness and I really haven’t had this much fun in a long time.

Love where this band is at right now and cannot wait for MSG!

^I couldn’t agree more. I haven’t had time to try and craft what I feel is a statement of love worthy of this show. It was possibly my favorite 3.0 show and had to be up there among the best they have played in recent years. It made me feel like a young girl in the mid-90s seeing Phish for the 20 or 30th time!

What happens when they come together like this? Magic. Why don’t they do it more often? They can still blow my mind. I love this band!

Downloading this show now so I can listen to it when I drive back to school.

The comments above make me wish my commute was 2 hours instead of 1!

I found a great spot sidestage (Mike) and proceeded to rage face. Second set really took off with Jibboo. I listen to that everyday…

I keep coming back again to this show to listen to.

The Twist jam is just so fucking nutty and great.

Like a Payday nutty, y’know?

This run will stand the test of time I’m sure, hope to see more consistency like this in 2014. Let’s all push for all indoor shows from here on out, k?
