The tour opener to the famous Fall '97 tour is a pretty good one. They seem to shake off most of the rust by the end of the first set. It’s not an outstanding set, though the SOAM and YEM are dance parties. They turn up the heat with every song they play throughout the set so the second set is set up quite nicely.

The Stash to open the second set is awesome. It’s not the best jam of the tour by any means, but it definitely sends the “this is how things are gonna be this tour” message. I really like the 97 Caspians so all the haters can suck it. They feature a lot of soaring guitar parts and some decent tension and release. The Mike’s Groove to close out the set is sick too. They hit the Fall 97 stride by this Groove for sure.
