Notes: This show featured the Phish debuts of Foggy Mountain Breakdown, I’m Blue I’m Lonesome, and My Long Journey Home. Pig in a Pen through Swing Low featured the “Reverend” Jeff Mosier on banjo and vocals, as this show marked the beginning of Mosier’s five-night tour with the band. I’m Blue I’m Lonesome and My Long Journey Home were also performed acoustic. This version of Chalk Dust appears on A Live One. Tennessee Waltz was played for the first time since May 6, 1993 (141 shows), Pig in a Pen was played for the first time since February 23, 1993 (192 shows), and Swing Low was played for the first time since October 20, 1989 (630 shows).

This show is awesome. Lots of bluegrass goodness, didn’t realize it was the first show on this leg with the Rev. The Simple is just massive and worth a listen.

Dude, nice timing! I was just listening to the Mike’s Song > Simple yesterday but didn’t have time to post about it. Def one of the better Simples I’ve heard. I’m digging all the bluegrass in this setlist too. Think it’s about time I go through all of November, 1994.

This show does have a lot of bluegrass, so if you’re not into it just check out the Simple. It’s fucking wild. It goes through this very abstract/jazzy jam that is very unique and clocks in around 30 min.

Love the opening combo of Sample Foam, a really good Stash and then sweet sweet Simple, this one is out there :astonished:
