The encore included the first Phish performance of Fixin’ to Die, which featured Mosier on banjo and lead vocals.

It’s really hard to keep reviewing these November 94 shows. Because basically if you like Phish, you need to hear every one of them. The first set is a really fun set from the Helter Skelter opener to the raging DWD closer. Trey owns this one for sure and ends the set on a very high note.

The second set has more stellar versions of Bowie, YEM (featuring a nice segue into HYHU) and Slave. Personally while I like the bluegrass stuff, I don’t know that I’m a big fan of it to end the show. Just not really the high note you want to leave on, but I’d still take some more of it whenever these days.
