Ummm…sometimes I wonder why hardly any of these shows have any posts about them. This second set is a monster. The Split Open and Melt rages for over 17 min, Trey kills the Fog that Surrounds solo, and the Reba is fucking beautiful. Granted, the ending is a botched, but the interplay between the four of them during the jam is spectacular. It’s jams like these that convinces me that these four individuals possess telepathy. An odd mid-set trio of Julius, Sleeping Monkey, Sparkle is followed by a serious Mike’s->Weekapaug. Trey switches over to the mini-kit not long into the jam and they build up a super-dance groove that carries through most of the rest of the jam. Then the Weekapaug is nothing short of mindfuckness. The end gets really really spacey and has DEG teases in it. For a few minutes it sounds like they’re going to go into Maze, but it just gets weirder and weirder until it fades out and they sing Amazing Grace. This set is great and definitely has a kind of 
quality to it. I kind of picture a bunch of people walking out of the show going “damn…that was awesome” but scratching their heads at the same time. Good shit right here.
I feel like this second set is a boxer, it just keeps on landing big punches. And it finally knocks you down with that Mikes-> Paug. Such a good Mikes Groove this one is a keeper.
