:wtf: Mound is the weak spot? Different things for different people.

Me, I was dying for Farmhouse to end and not especially into Wading at the time (I like it but I keep getting that tune it seems, just getting tired of it I guess).

Agreed that What’s The Use was the highlight though. *and I like the cut of the jib of the text of the style of the gist of your review.

Great set. Mound not weak spot.
Ã

Mound is a very hard song to play…they nailed it!

I mentioned the flubbed Mound comment above to a friend who was at the show and he goes, “does he know Mound’s supposed to sound like that?”

I remember during the -7 jam that I was getting so into it then i heard the drone of the “buh-buh-buh-buh” sound of Trey preparing to cut the jam short and I felt so bummed, thinking of what kinda stratospheric shit we could have busted into, then all of a sudden WHAM - what’s the use hit me like a bus and I was awed. Such a great night. Mound alone would have made my night.

Good first set, What Things Seem is my highlight. I obviously need to listen to this again after reading the above comments, because I thought Roggae (I love the tune) was one of the lowlights. Rough spots for sure.

The second set was excellent until the Velvet Sea, they seemed to lose steam and never quite got it back. As far as Farmhouse goes, this one is a keeper. I found myself air-guitaring along with Trey.

I remember at the time that the Roggae was definitely one of the highlights of this show

I definitely like this one better than 12/28. VERY nice setlist with a lot of rarities. Roggae had an awesome jam on it (best of 3.0?). Mike’s>Mound>Paug and -7>WTU were the highlights of the second set from what I remember. Unfortunately, I have pretty much no recollection right of how this Bowie sounded.

Roggae was ill but I wouldn’t put it up there with the sickest jam of 3.0… if you’re referring to best Roggae of 3.0 then I’ll agree on that though

^Very good show. Seven Below highlight (and Mound, of course.) Roggae is one of those songs that always gets me emotional for some reason…the jams are always sooooo beautiful sounding. Hampton Comes Alive Roggae still best ever though. I follow that tune really closely always trying to find one better ya know? But damn. So good.

However, what Will said about losing steam and never getting it back…that’s kind of how I felt about both nights in Worcester (except Hood–best of 3.0, for sure. ) Shows were still great…just not “steam” filled if that makes any sense.

Roggae, Simple and Hood seem to do that the most for me.

^^ And I mean best Roggae of 3.0 not best jam of 3.0

^ As for best Hood of 3.0 Worcester was very, very good but from what I remember I don’t think it had the ridiculous peak that I crave in Hood. Maybe I just need to hear it again…

Great Weekapaug! I wasn’t there but I like the vibe of this run that comes through from the recordings. Nice laid back, emotive and connected Phish. The lighting in this video has a nice scheme to it also. Enjoy.
