I’m a little tired this morning, but I can tell you in very few words that this was a mighty fine show.

I had mixed feeling about Saturday’s show and almost considered not putting up with the overhead necessary to get to a Phish show anymore.

But this show changed all of that. If there’s a chance that I can see Phish play like they did last night again, I’ll continue buying tickets. No doubt at all.

Side notes:

  • Pei Yi and her sister Shih Yi are the best people to see a show with. They just may be the best people period. Thanks for hanging with me on the “bar stools” at MSG.

  • Hanks da man!

  • Keith brought his younger brother to his first Phish show last night. If he’s not a fan after that one, he’ll never be one.

  • Brett, you still owe me a drink for the Tigers beating the Yankees.

  • Highlight of the night was the OhKeePa shout out in the Ya Mar.

Last night was a pretty sweet show. They always bring it on the 30th.

Right back at cha, Bill; we had a Great time. Glad we found ya at the bar stools. Really fun show and high musical integrity

EDIT:
Bill: Shih-Yi says Thanks and that you saved us last night  Show would not have been as enjoyable otherwise.

I guess that makes me the worst for hitting her with a glowstick eh? (Really a glowring, but still) :frowning:

Carini nearly brought me to tears

Hope to see some of you guys tonight!
Heading in to the city shortly!

Some good highlights here. A few bathroom breaks but the good was goooooood.

Jim>Cities>DIVIDED SKY!
Horn>MFMF>ANTELOPE!
DWD!
Slave, Hood>SoL!

Tonight will be great!

The way the band was looking to do some hard rocking coming out of the DWD jam and going into the Twenty Years Later I thought for sure an Axilla was coming. Was happy to see the Carini instead. Great placement, excellent version.

Also thought for sure the “myfe” ending of My Friend was going to show up somewhere in the Antelope, as in, ‘been you to have any myfe, mon’.

I would like to take this opportunity to state that I would appreciate it in the future, if people can REFRAIN from throwing glowsticks as me (at my head especially) to try and get my attention.

  1. It’s not going to work. How many glowsticks do you think falls down on people at shows?
  2. I’d prefer if you just text me. Or shout really loud. But not when the music is playing. Or just tell me after the show.

Thanks.

I thought the first set was great. Seemed a bit short but it was really good so who cares right  I didn’t stream the second set for some dumbass reason so I listened to it this morning.

DwD was fantastic, but who else wishes they would have extended that last 2 min jam out even farther. I would have loved to see that go for 35+ mins  I could only wish  It was a great DwD though, fantastic, and I thought the TYL was a great seg and song to follow. The Carini was masterful. The first 3 songs of the set were fantastic and why we all go see this band, or at least a big ass reason.

I haven’t listened to anything past Carini yet, but I’ll get too it. Hope everyone there had fun, and stop throwing glowsticks at AG

Have fun tonight to those who are going

That Carini was really fantastic. I thought BDTNL was a little bit abrupt- I was really gunning for ->Shafty or ->Roggae to bring it back from the asteroid belt. Julius was dope. My streaming karma earned me a Droid advertisement in the middle of the Slave jam, and again in the middle of the Hood jam. D’oh!

Carini… :smiling_imp:
Brother’s mind was blown… :open_mouth:

Last night was fan tasteek! Had that mid fall tour darkness feel. Loved it.

This was my favorite of the run. My Friend thru Carini was REDICULOUS. The DWD was the version of that song that i’ve been waiting to see since i started seeing this band. Myfe blew the freakin roof off, with one of the better versions of 3.0 and as usual antelope did NOT dissapoint. But the Carini folks… the Carini. Words cannot explain. i’ll let this do the talking:

or for those who prefer a view of the lights…

And you really should watch this:

Also honorable mention to the slave. Best version i’ve had the pleasure of witnessing. The peak was unreal.

Man, this show was really great. I feel that this and 12/28 were musically the best of the run. Lots of specific things I want to mention but feel like the entire show kind of speaks for itself. Obviously I’ve got some bias since I was at this show, but consider it recommended 3.0 listening for any fan. Improv highlights were clearly DWD and Carini. However the first set had amazing song selection! Also the Slave was unreal as Highway Bill has said. Also the Hood was an pleasantly unexpected surprise as an encore. Really great show, hoping to see more of this caliber next week!
