^feel free to skip that one!

for what reason?

^I’ve never heard it, but I’ve heard lots of smack talk about that show.

the next night at alpine is absolutely spectacular though.

Love that show.

oh…
then nevermind… ::slight_smile:

teehee.

I have also never heard this show.
Never heard anything about this show even.
I guess it is time to listen!

damn sarcasm

::shakes fist::

I definitely have heard here, but mainly other reviews/sites, that this show is not good.

But I personally have not heard this show, so I can’t comment on the music itself. But I imagine you’ll find people who hated this show. Might find people who love it. That dichotomy is true with every Phish show I’m assuming.

The Tinley Park 97 show has the destinction of being one of the worst shows I attended. It’s mediocraty was assentuated by the crappy venue and terrible vibe. I checked this out on tape too, and it wasn’t any better. I do enjoy the blues tunes with Sugar Blue, but the rest of the show is rather blah.

Of course, the next three shows of the tour were awesome. I attended these four in a row and this just came off lame next to three superb efforts. I particularly love set II of Alpine and the first night of Deer Creek. Next to these sets, the Tinley Park is a throw away.

can’t wait for 8/10. SECOND SET IS tEh_SiKnIsS

8/8 was the throw away show of the tour/year, but when comparing it to stuff played post '98 it’s pretty much on par.

yuk yuk.

Coming up on the Prankster’s show. Definately one of my favorites.
