i kind of feel like they should play a new song first to start this (hopefully) new era of phish, i don’t want to see another 2 years then a break up, if they are going to play together for a long time again new material is needed
many people may not like that idea, but phish is about change, diff years had diff sounds, i want to be totally surprised, i don’t want anybody to be like, “see man, i called it, i told you they’d play fluffhead” if they play something new, nobody can call that shit, and i think that is the best thing they can do, show us that hey, we have new tricks up our sleeves so get ready for surprises
sure i want to hear all my fav’s as all of us do… but i’d hope we all know where that will lead… to another break-up
