LOL. Nice one.

Maybe it’s me, but ain’t the Dodgers incorporating AL elements to beat the NL. Since we know that the AL is about a billion times better, just a few AL players are enough to beat the best team in the NL. Manny, Casey Blake are big AL hitters and Joe Torre is an AL manager…none of that small-ball, switch-pitchers-every-hitter crap. The second that team traded for Manny, the NL team they played in the first round was done. Sadly (or not so sadly) the Cubs were that team.

Oh well…here’s to another year of “this team is different” and “this is our year” articles. Should be a joy.

Good work by the Phillies though there should have been a way for both teams to lose since neither deserves to be in any conference championship game. Good lord. You could probably put the Tigers in that league and they would have beaten either team in in 4 games or less.

anybody got any extras for Games 3, 4, or 5 of the World Series in Philly? If so let me know, trying my best to not get shut out of this as well as Phish. Phish hasn’t happened in 4 + years, well Phil’s in the World Series hasn’t happened in 15 years, I got to try my hardest to get in, stub hub is selling tix’s @ 500 just for standing room tickets, crazy.

Check out stubhub. They’re kind of pricey, but its better than spending $250 on Phish tix. No offense to Phish, of course.

yeah i was on there the other day 500+ for standing room, i figure i’ll just hit up mcfadden’s and try to bum rush thru the gate before i’d pay 500, i’ll be up in philly tho if there is a clinching game played in philly will either be Game 4 sunday or Game 5 monday

if they go back to tampa for Games 6 & 7 i’ll prob be at a house party of some sorts i’m sure

the Red Sox only win World Series during times when Phish is officially “broke up.” Think about it. October '04 was their first. Oct. '07 will be there last.
