But the Yankees will never win Till the Fromage makes Fondue again…Fuck The Rays and their stupit home runs
2-0 Rays before any outs have been recorded.
It’s so satisfying to see Boston lose.
FUCK THE RAYS god damnit
^Don’t speak too soon there bro.
mmmmm…hhhhh…mmmmmmmm, I like paste
Ok, Beckett has sucked lately but if u r a playoff bettin man u gotta take him over shields in 1 game…game 7 Lester Garza…What a fuckin game tonight, I have no words
i gotta say i like the red sox.
but i am a native Floridian, though not from the Tampa Bay area. So i guess it would be cool if they won even though i could really give a rat’s ass about the TB teams.
i don’t like the Phillies. At all. Or any of the Philadelphia sports teams, and several people i’ve known from Philadelphia. So i wouldn’t want that to happen.
I suppose Go Sox, but i’m cool with the Rays. So let’s see that series go to 7 either way and have the winner sweep the Phillies.
the Skunk Ape has spoken from the Atlantic coast of FLA.
go Marlins. (the Red Sox have a surplus of former Marlins World Series heroes)
Jaw you just made me cry
^wicked, bro.
holy hell!!
I just turned on the a.m. radio in my room as I’m going to bed, and I can’t believe the Sox came back! You miss a lot when you don’t have TV anymore.
I left work in the 7th inning and it was still 7-0! Wow. I guess the Sox fans were booing big Papi earlier in the game? Idiots. He won you a fucking World Series. Shut up.
Although I still think the Rays will pull this series out in game 6 or 7. Phillies are going all the way against either team.
I know, I couldn’t believe my eyes this morning either. I stopped watching around the 7th inning. The announcers were literally giving the Red Sox their season-ending eulogy.
I don’t like the looks of this…if I were TB I’d be nervous as hell.
Dammit.
Oh well, I still think Boston will lose the series.
This team continues to blow my and probably everyone else’s mind in the ALCS. After what happened in '04 I thought we’d never see a performance match that, but last night surpassed any of those games as far as one game goes. I was flipping my shit. I mean really, that just doesn’t happen. I was so upset, but honestly, as a Sox fan my whole life and over the past few years, I truly in my heart didn’t write them off completely, though I had gotten used to the fact they were done. NOT YET!!! For people who hate on baseball, last night’s game illustrates the EPICNESS possible with baseball. gotta love it.
i want to play boston, not the rays.
i don’t want to be see any WS games played in some shit dome that doesn’t even have grass. Nobody should have to play on that astro turf/tru turf shit they have there and toronto, that shit should be banned from the game.
Last nights game was epic, that is for sure. Had turned in on in the 6th, 0-7. Turned it off, came back half hour later to see if it was near over, and low and behold it’s 4-7, i watched the rest as I remembered what they did in 2004, and how fucking great for the game of baseball that series was. Now can they do it in Tampa?
^I would rather play Boston too, but either way, if they can take this series to 7 and keep the pitchers off good rest. The Phil’s could have an advantage.
Just remember, the Dodgers looked a lot better against the Cubs than they did against the Phillies. I’m hoping the same will be said for the Rays, or the RedSox, whoever ends up winning. Phils in 6, thats my World Series.
Go BEAN TOWN!!! hell yeah!!!
Yeah, I turned it off right after they nailed the double off of PapelBAWN to make it 7-0 in the 7th. The funny thing is I wanted to watch the rest of the game but I was tired and PapelBAWN took SO frickin long in between EVERY pitch!!!
I mean the dude looks at the ground for five minutes, takes a deep breath, takes another deep breath, then turns to give his kissy-lips to Varitek, shakes off ten different signs, then stands up back straight, looks to home, looks at second base, looks back to home, stays looking at home so the camera can focus on his “angry” eyes and the announcers can compliment him, then looks back to second, then throws a pitch that is two feet wide of the plate.
I’m sorry…maybe I was just tired but this wait between pitches with him just seemed excrutiating. MLB has no idea how many fans get turned off how long it takes for some of these pitchers to throw a frickin pitch. Even worse, they have time-limit rules but just never bother to enforce them.
So I blame PapelBAWN for boring me to tears and making me go to bed and missing it. Actually, my brother did wake me up with a phone call to turn the game on but at that point I figured he would only call if the Sawks were coming back so in my sleepy state, I didn’t feel like seeing that anyway.
Either way, this makes Saturday’s game a MUST-WATCH…well, a must-watch right after Missouri/Texas, LSU/South Carolina, and VA Tech/BC at least…
And props to Philly. They were probably the LAST team I would have picked to make it out of the NL though I wasn’t that thrilled with any of those teams. I’m sure they’re all excited to get swept by whoever wins the AL.

^Have you ever watched the Twins Joe Nathan… Talk about time and quirks, me grunts, farts and wipes himself and has more ticks than a young hippie camping alone in the forest…
^he has a mild form of Tourrett’s (sp?) Syndrome.
Hmm, well that explains it…
