EAT’EM UP TIGERS, EAT’EM UP!!
I don’t care if he didn’t get the win. We only win games when…

Armando Galarraga pitches!! Give him the Cy Young NOW! He does magic tricks! FUCKING MAGIC TRICKS!!!

The rest of the AL Central is going to wish they buried the Tigers when they had the chance. That division is so crazy right now with just everyone within like 3.5 games. I’m pretty sure the Tigers are going to heat up and dominate this division the rest of the way out. Man what happened to the Indians. If it weren’t for Cliff Lee they would be brutal. Damn Hafner your only job is to hit so I suggest you start taking some extra BP and bust out of this slump.
What the fluck?! I leave the game last night at the bottom of the 8th with the Sox in the lead and teh pap gives up 2 in the ninth? jeeeezzzz.
tigers could split with a win tonite! KNAWT!
see, in the end it feels better winning with a team like the Twins.
even if you lose you have built in excuses for sucking. when you win with the tigers you can’t help but feel like you bought those wins.
and when you win its just peaches and cream. but really were not winning much at all…its just that the Indians and Tigers have underachieved.
go suck an egg!
I’m just in denial hank, I thought we had a team built for the Series
Was last night’s brawl the first of the season?
searches for clip of Don Zimmer being tossed like a rag doll
Ya, it’s pretty ugly watching that team every night. I still think it’s a curse since we became the Yankees so now we’re suddenly losing thanks to terrible pitching much like they are.
And have they given Brandon Webb the NL Cy Young yet? Holy crap…

Yeah
Just got a free ticket to the Tribe game tonight.
Fireworks taboot!
Go Tribe!
Eff them Canadiens, eh!
so yeah I guess the Twins beat Papel-whatever his name is in the 9th inning tonight.
too easy.
Thats the 2nd game pappelboobs lost this week!
Manny’s catch last night reminded me of the scene in Major League where Willie Mays Hayes makes a basket catch and then as he’s running into the dugout, Lou says “Nice catch, don’t ever fucking do it again.”
^hahahahahahahahahaha, just watched that this weekend!
Definitely one of my all-time favorite movies. Ever.
haha they had the top 10 “Manny being Manny” moments on Baseball Tonight last night. They were great.
Like the time he called the shortstop off on a lazy fly ball to the outfield, and then didn’t even get close to catching the ball. And the time he threw the ball into the stands with only 2 outs.
Well all is good in Cubdom!!! Sweeping three from Arizona (avoiding Webb though) and winning 3 of 4 from San Diego is a nice start to this 10 game homestand. They play the next 3 against Pittsburgh who they are 6-0 against this season. I don’t think they’ll sweep Pittsburgh as Zambrano is sandwiched by our two worst starters, but you never know with the way they are swinging the bats.
The big news is that the Cubs signed Jim Edmonds. I’m a big reader of the Cubs Blog: bleedcubbie blue and everyone is so upset about this signing. He’s an ex-cardinal and they claim he’s done. Well I personally love signing Edmonds. It’s a low risk signing and let’s face it Felix Pie cannot hit major league pitching consistently yet. Edmonds is the perfect platoon guy to have in center alongside Reed Johnson. Now Edmonds could be done, but why not find out if he has anything left in the tank. In today’s ballgame he went 1-4 and was flawless in the field (all routine flys). He would have a had a HR in one of his at bats if the wind wasn’t howling in. I don’t care who the guy played for if he can help the Cubbies end this 100 year drought I’m all for signing him.
On a sidenote: I can’t believe how awful San Diego is this year. Half the lineup probably shouldn’t be regulars on a major league team and the other half shouldn’t even be in the big leagues. Damn what happened to San Diego? They have a couple decent pitchers, but they don’t score any runs.
I still love him cutting off of Damon’s throw from center for virtually no reason. Just a classic. And none of it matters because he’s a Hall of Fame hitter.
