Man, I really, really hope Purdue can get by IU on Saturday. Tiller’s last game, and he’s done so much for the program I really think he deserves to go out with a win. I didn’t realize that he’s only lost twice to IU, once being last year on that ghey last second FG.
I’m going to the Hard Rock Casino for lunch and I think I might take that OSU -21 too. We know it’s the worst season EVER for U of M and I’m hoping it will be the WORST beating ever by an OSU team too. 
21 points in a rivalry game is WAY too much. There hasn’t been a game in that series decided by 20+ points in 15 years.

Indeed…and what about those Spartans!! Battle of the Big Ten! WOOOOO! Seriously, its just nice the Spartans will actually have a small shot at winning the Big Ten. It’s a longshot but it’s better than we’ve done in God-Knows-How-Long. There’s a few signs of weakness in Penn State but MSU hasn’t won in Happy Valley even when Penn State sucked. I have a feeling this game will be at least a little bit more interesting than MSU/UM. I just hope the Spartans don’t totally crap the bed like they did against OSU. GO STATE!!!
And Ghosty said it right…it’ll be Big-12 champ vs SEC Champ. If Bama beats Florida, they’re undefeated and get in…if Florida wins, they’re in with one loss. The issue if Texas Tech loses is how will the tiebreaks work in the Big-12 South to determine who gets in the title game against Missouri? I have no idea.
What could really screw it up is what if Missouri WINS that game? I wouldn’t expect them to but they’re no pushover either. Then, we’d have total chaos and we’d probably end up with USC in the Title game for no real reason other than all the voters liking Pete Carroll. It’s a farce anyway so why not?

The BCS situation is exactly why I just can’t get into College Football. Yeah I watch it and enjoy it, but it is so infuriating. Oklahoma should clearly be the #2 team in the country. Okay that’s my opinion and you can argue against it thousands of ways. The fucked up thing about it is that the sports writers opinions are exactly who will decide makes into the BCS Title Game. Who are they going to vote in as #2. Texas or Oklahoma. Well Texas beat Oklahoma. Don’t give me that BS. If that’s the case give Notre Dame a National Title in 1992 because they beat Florida State yet Florida State went to the title game.
There are numerous other examples. How many times has Penn State been screwed over. Remember that Kerry Collins, Ki-Jana Carter, Bobby Engram team. They got screwed over. Or the Auburn team with Jason Campbell, Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams. Screwed over. Should LSU even really been champs last year. I don’t know. I just know that Ohio St. shouldn’t have been.
It’s such a mess. How they can justify this BS is beyond me. This is the only sport that isn’t decided on the field. Hell even field hockey, volleyball, rowing, you name it is decided on the field. Obama forget the economy. Focus on College Football. Make sure they get this shit straightened out. Who is even on these committees that decides all this. I want names.
This is also the sport that has co-national champions. How gay is that. USC says were the champs of the AP…LSU says were the champs of the coaches poll. So your both the champs. What is this high school football. Class 4a, 3a, 2a, etc…No there should be one champ…It should be clear…I’m ranting, but this shit is so stupid. I just can’t believe the justification of this crap.
Some good games coming up. Starting Friday with BSU/Buffalo for the MAC championship. Even if BSU wins, no BCS game for them. To play Devil’s advocate, did we learn nothing from the Hawaii/Georgia debacle last year?

I agree. One thing that is going in their favor is that sometimes poll voters have very short attention spans. They remember OU’s dismantling of TT, but forget their loss to UT earlier, which is why OU vaulted past UT in the standings.
If Florida ROUTS Alabama, Missouri beats OU, and USC pounds UCLA, then you could argue that we might see a Florida vs. USC matchup.
While I respect your opinion…USC would get killed by a Florida team. They can’t keep up offensively with them. Sure they have the D, but Meyer is too good of an offensive mind to be held down. I honestly want to see Oklahoma vs. Florida. I think Oklahoma is the only team that can keep up with them.

USC has the best in the nation, and if there’s going to be any team that is capable of shutting Florida down (besides Ole Miss), it’s USC.
And no one is giving Alabama a chance in this game. Why? They’re the strongest, most powerful team in NCAA football and all they do is win games. I can’t believe the spread on this game is approaching 10 points in Florida’s favor.
I’d love to see Alabama beat Fla (I lived/worked in Tuscaloosa for a few years) and took out a future on them back in July at 60/1 to win the BCS at $5. That’s a $300 payout on a $5 investment…

my mom’s a die hard Gator fan (just like the ones depicted in the movie “Big Trouble”). She gets really nervous watching the games as if they are close. Then i walk into the room to find a score like 55-10 or something. The games are over by the 2nd quarter. And that’s good being that it should give them National Champion contention. But its boring as all hell to watch.
I’m looking forward to Saturday when maybe they will be involved in a somewhat exciting game.
