2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament

::starting to think he should have went to Stanford::

when was the last time all number 1 seeds where in the final four?

^Never

Interesting bracket if the tournament were actually set up by geographic regions:

We’d probably have the same results we have now in the Final Four, but you never know.

So according to the little scenario generator thing, I won the bracket. All kneel before me!

That was fun though, I’m glad someone invited me to their bracket this year.

Congrats.

Should be a fantastic game. Memphis is favored by 1.5 points.

I see overtime!!

There has only been one good game since the Sweet 16 and it was Davidson against Kansas. This tournament has been quite the disappointment. Hopefully tonight’s game is at least close…overtime would def make up for a shitty final four.

Agreed.

You’d think by getting all four #1 seeds into the Final Four that the two games would be fairly competitive…nope. It was the most rich, tradition-laden Final Four in history and we would up with a stinker.

At the beginning of this tourny I listened to a report about these guys that used mathematical equations to figure out who will win.

They said Kansas.

Good call on OT Ghost. I hate to toot my own horn, but I will anyway. I knew just knew that North Carolina would not take home the title. I gotta admit I was nervous when I saw them play there first 3 games. Damn they looked dominant.

Anyways I’m glad for Bill Self and Kansas. Hats off to you.

I feel bad for Coach Calipari. The guy is amazing. I was listening to an interview with him on the Jim Rome Show midseason and the guys is flat out witty and motivating. I was moved by him listening to him on the radio. No wonder the guy can flat out recruit. He convinced me to believe in him by this one interview. I guarantee he’ll get a title eventually.

Eh, I’m not sure if Calipari is the best in-game coach but, you’re right, the guy could motivate a vegetarian to eat meat. Every time I hear him, I want to run a marathon. Still, I’ve bashed Bill Self but he coached a fantastic game…from the different zone looks to slowing down Memphis’ fast break to getting plays to get guys in the paint he did a great job…kudos to him. Who would have thought that hack-a-Memphis would actually work? Hilarious.

In fact, almost all aspects of that game was great. It’s gotta be the best game I’ve EVER seen Ed Hightower call…it’s hard to believe that he’s the same guy who called that MSU/Wisconsin debacle in the Big Ten tourney. Plus Billy Packer actually did a good job on play-calling…he was reading my mind on many of his comments and was explaining the various defenses and looks well…it’s amazing what he can do when he’s not biased for one team. It was definitely a lackluster tournament but that made up for it. Good times…

So I owe a show to ub-Glo?

Lemme know what you want…

Nah, I don’t think we’re doing that. It didn’t work too well last year, apparently.

Unless you want to as an act of goodwill, of course.
