For real dude. Cali will get plenty of future love. Alabama on the other hand well, i don’t see Phish ever returning to Birmingham. Would be cool but i’m not gonna get my hopes up. Just hold your horses go to shoreline and the gorge. You will still have seen more Phish shows than me this summer if you do shoreline and the gorge. Bleeeeeh .

Get a blow up raft and start rowing ! ;D

4 tickets to Red Rocks please. These are the only CAN’T MISS shows of the summer. WORD!

Festys are OVER

^ solid rephrasing there. SOLID

i really cant wait now, got more than just one show this summer to look forward to

festy’s over? hahaha. sorry. not happenin’. wait 'til '10. That last interview that came off shows that they plan to be playing for a long time. there’s gonna be more festivals. sorry to laugh at that post, i mean no disrespect, just lightening it a little. that was pretty negative. if you’re not talking about phish-only festivals, look at the lineups to all the summer festies this year. Fuck! ROTHBURY!! I do agree that Red Rocks are gonna be the can’t-missers!

I need to win the lottery…

red rocks will be the festie… the town will be overrun with heads. the town WILL shut down. if you thought hampton was nuts this will be the shit storm for real.

^ i completely agree man,

but i think there will be a Phish festi in 2010 as well
i think they are just getting things back in the swing and then next year, all hell is going to break loose

i put in a request for red rocks saturday night and for Merriweather Post (BTW, that is such a great album). I’ve never been to Colorado before, so phish is the perfect excuse!

I’m really not expecting to get Red Rocks tickets, but if I get them thats great. On the other hand, I’m gonna be pissed if I don’t get Gorge tickets.

^Gorge tix will be easy to get if you are online or on the phone right when they go on sale.

I didn’t even request them in the lotto, and I’m going for sure

^ over-confidence can be a weakness and can cause lack of foresight. be careful, hank.

red rocks through Gorge requested.

:crosses fingers:

$778.63 What depression?

requested 4 for Hartford. Here’s hoping. Anybody going to that one?

im hoping to score two for chicago man

Love the second leg. I don’t think I’ll be able to do any of these with the possible exception of Chicago. I’m just stoked that there are so many options to see the boys this summer. I’ll take my 4 shows from the first leg of the tour and possibly add Chicago. 5 shows this summer wouldn’t be too shabby.

Is anyone else surprised they are doing so many dates? I thought they would take it nice and easy. Hey I love it. I just want to see the band survive for years and years. I guess I worry about the tour life again with Trey. I mean he’s a grown man and knows what to do, but damn there will be opportunities where Trey could indulge if he wants to. I’m just writing out loud and don’t mean to come across as negative. Just a penny for your thoughts.

Well, after talking with the wifey last night, it looks like I’m forgoing the Gorge and Red Rocks and just hitting up the Toyota Park show. It’s a hometown show, so that works for me.
Between the money for the tickets, the cost to travel out there, and the cost of lodging (hotel, camping, etc…) it’s just not financially possible.
Besides, my wife will be about 8 months pregnant at that time, so I really shouldn’t take off halfway across the country with her in such a “delicate” condition.
So that actually is a huge weight off the shoulders, ya know. No need to worry about the lottery, where I’m gonna get the money, and it certainy eases any tension on the homefront.
3 shows this summer, all within a 2 hour drive. Not too shabby!

Good luck to everyone trying for RR or Gorge tickets. May the schwartz be with you all!
