The “powers that be” have deemed it so. The show promoters have connections with Phish management.

UPDATE:
The band has been personally told about this after party. All that means is that if they do happen to want to go to a party after the show, friends of ours who work with Phish have suggested this party to them.

I think he heard we were already melting enough faces, so no :frowning:

BUT

The next day when we played in the lot, Gordeax himself found his way to our band and listened to us play for a few minutes. I think we were playing “The Ocean” when I looked up and saw him about 25 yards away watching us. What a feeling. As he left, I yelled “Thanks Mike! See you inside!” Had he stayed any longer, we would have asked him to sit in for sure.
