Well, I just got home, and overall it was pretty good, nothing to call home about however (at least for GRAB).
The GRAB set was very similar to those we have seen thus far from bonnaroo and the tour. There were a few songs I did not recognize, but at the same time there were a lot of trey tunes.
It may have been the acoustics of the tweeter center, but either the low mids and bass of the vocals was being buried, or Trey and Mikes voices were so high, they sounded like they were trying to be emo.
Nonetheless, they had some amazing jams on multiple songs.
side note: Mike used a different bass than usual.
The Lesh sets however, really took the cake in my opinion. Trey came out for the the last song of the first set. They played an epic version of All Along the Watchtower, where trey just went nuts. It was one of those moments where he sound incredible/invincible. He also solo dueled with the saxaphone player which was real nuts.
The second was real good, and Trey was there for the whole thing. It’s hard to say that anything could top that watchtower, but the set was still balls to the wall great.
