Yes. Stream of consciousness is good and fine but paragraphs are sorta necessary for reading. If this was spoken, say in a coffee house, then it could be spoken as if there are no paragraphs and one could breath in the middle of sentences so all the lines run together if that was preferred. But to sit down and read is just too mind boggling. The eyes need reference points.
