anybody watch the quirky new ABC show “Sons and Daughters?”
Apparently, it’s half-scripted, half-improvised, and it’s from Lorne Michaels. I’ve seen the past few episodes and it’s actually not bad. Weird sense of humor.
Anyway, there were 2 GD references on it last night. The first ocurred when the main character was laying in bed with his wife contemplating how fast his life had gotten to that point. He exclaimed “where did the time go? it seems like it was just yesterday i was dancing at a Dead concert, making out with a girl in a peasant dress with no underwear.”
The second ocurred when he is outside his house waiting for his wife and children to leave. A few lines from “Ripple” are playing quite loudly.
I love when GD or, moreso, Phish references actually appear on TV.
