i buy the cheap this if i need to get fucked up in a hurry. canadian club/7up is one way to go.
johnny walker green label is really good. a little expensive but you can really taste the difference in the quality. whiskey on the rocks is the way to go. or just a quick splash of water instead of a couple ice cubes. it brings out the taste more.

I have never been much of a whisky/whiskey guy, outside of SoCo. Itās probably because itās all my family drinks on my dadās side, and my parents guy the cheapest, worst Canadian whiskey they can find. My friend made me drink a shot of Jim Beam NYE before we went to the bar and I thought I was going to puke. Itās the taste of it more than the strength.

whiskey IS nasty, no doubt. rum is MUCH better (in comparing the brown liqours). but if you mix whiskey right, it can be tolerable.
rum = mix
whiskey = straight
unless youāre walking through NYC and itās necesary to put some whiskey in a coke bottle or something. thatās ok i guess.
If you can get really good rum, then itās good straight up. Like Havana Club, Iād love to get some of thatā¦

Whiskey will be grandā¦ If weāre going for expensive, Iād opt for Bookerāsā¦ that shitās amazing. Itās like $55 a fifth though. If not that, then some Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve or Basil Haydenās will do nicely. We should hold off and save the Crown for less monumental events.

ahhh rasta, your my man! knobs creek is my fave bourbon. i have yet to try bookers yet. my aunt and soon to be ex uncle had a bottle of bookers, but i didnt get to try any. jack would be my fave bourbon, but since it technically isnt bourbon, it isnt.
