Adoption is only one way and how you want to pursue it will be different for everyone. I am glad as a birth Father, to hear from my child, the delight and heartfelt questions are welcomed! I think it makes her and I both stronger. Also, the look on my wifes face when they met, changed my world forever! There is nothing better then PURE JOY!

I am very proud and happy with were this stands and hope to continue building that relationship with her and her adoptive family as well, they’re good people!

I cannot wait to share more information with you all as we get it and continue this magical ride I am on. When it all comes down to it, there is nothing more inportant than family and friends, without some of each we would all be nothing.

Ryan, this is good stuff! You guys are a stunning family!

I’m all about adoption. We’re done with the parenting thing, but I much prefer the idea of caring for an existing human that has nobody to care for them over the idea of bringing yet another human into the world in an attempt to grant immortality to my genes. My genes don’t need to live forever.

I am blown away by this amazing story. When situations of unexpected pregnancy arise, it seems the option of adoption is often not considered or dismissed too quickly. I think it has got to be just about one of the bravest and things a person or couple could ever do. You two gave your daughter the best opportunity she could ever have gotten. Even if I don’t “know” you or your wife, I couldn’t be more proud of you both, not only for being so strong to follow through on something so difficult, but for having the courage to reconnect after so many years, not knowing how it would go AND for having the outstanding emotional capacity to recognize that you did the very best thing for everyone involved. ^Makes me smile!

I have had some fairly hard things happen in my life, but in the end having spent so much time with Anna last week anad having her accept us in such a loving way makes me feel whole again!!!

Thank you all for the kind words, I am hoping to share some more visits with you all.

I am a little nervous thought, because at some point the questions should get deeper and harder, but I will always be honest and upfront with her!!!
