Album Art

you must always remember to rat on.

these guys peaked in '76.

Thanks Will - I wondered how long it would be before this thread degenerated into the WORST album covers available. it’s strange, but I’ve found more websites dedicated to bad album covers than good ones and some of these (Ken, Millie Jackson) are becoming ubiquitous. You forgot Hispanic gayer Tino and those three pig-ugly blind bitches. My personal fave though has to be Harry & Terry live - the very idea of an audio recording of a ventriloquist is nearly genius, topped only by Marcel Marceu on record I guess.

I could seriously put EVERY Iron Maiden album on here. It’s alway good stuff, featuring our good friend Eddie.

Can’t forget some of those classic DIO albums either…

No, I’m not on drugs at ALL:

And how about some love for the home boys? I’ve always liked this cover:

eh, i always hated the billy breathes cover.

I actually think that it’s Phish’s worst album cover. It’s too goofy for a mostly serious and subtle album.

^Agreed

^^and agreed

and my absolute favorite!!!

See! It’s the shit!!

my goodness.

^best.album art.ever.

Sorry about the double, but I couldn’t resist the cover’s tastefull charm.

Charliejack - I love the Rattle & Hum cover too, but would go for the Vinyl version, the spacing is a little more dramatic to these eyes.

The neat thing about the Rattle and Hum cover is it’s straight out of the movie. The Edge is doing this nasty solo in Bullet the Blue Sky and Bono’s walking around him with a spotlight shining it around him to create these cool lighting effects along with the music…it works even better since the movie’s filmed in black and white. Neat stuff. Great album too.
