I think it’s been said before but I am a big fan of vinyl and a key part of the appeal is the artwork. CDs and Downloads do not have the cache of a really beautiful record - these are some of my favourites.

No, not too much. The art of the album cover is one of my favorite topics. Sometimes I buy vinyl just based on the cover while knowing little else about the music therein. I figured I would post some less obvious ones that I particularly like.
The actual cover has a hologram where the book seems to flutter.
The actual cover has little windows where those red parts are which you can rotate like a wheel.
Just for the lazy minimalism, and the fact it was a doodle done by a band member while they were recording the album.

Thanks Will - I wondered how long it would be before this thread degenerated into the WORST album covers available. it’s strange, but I’ve found more websites dedicated to bad album covers than good ones and some of these (Ken, Millie Jackson) are becoming ubiquitous. You forgot Hispanic gayer Tino and those three pig-ugly blind bitches. My personal fave though has to be Harry & Terry live - the very idea of an audio recording of a ventriloquist is nearly genius, topped only by Marcel Marceu on record I guess.
I could seriously put EVERY Iron Maiden album on here. It’s alway good stuff, featuring our good friend Eddie.

eh, i always hated the billy breathes cover.
I actually think that it’s Phish’s worst album cover. It’s too goofy for a mostly serious and subtle album.
