Ok, I stumbled upon this site the other day. I think it’s some sort of search engine that goes through all the photos on the flickr picture hosting page. There are some amazing pictures on here…

You can start out by typing Phish in the search box and then select the different tabs around the outside. Or, if you didn’t want to look at Phish pics, you can type in “Urban”. I’ve been messing around on the Urban one for quite some time, it seems to go on forever…

So, if you see a picture you like, post it!

a couple of those skyline pics of NYC look like they could be from my house or my friends house

now that the leaves are gone off the trees i can see the skyline…

and yes sadly i saw the cloud from 9/11

Big D, can I enjoin in the fotofest?

Keeping in tune with your sky pictures, here’s a sunrise I snapped from our hotel room balcony on the beach in Duck, NC on the OBX a year ago:

I used it as wallpaper of my desktop until I came to this office where the systems have been preset to disallow the use of wallpaper on the desktop. Pisses me off since I used to love rotating pictures of the gkids on my computer. Looking at their smiles is an instant high for me.

And here’s a composite of some shots I took this past summer from my deck of a goldfinch and a hummingbird stopping by our feeder.

great pics, great thread…

i remember an old thread that had a link to a site that could enlarge any picture to any size and you could print it out on many sheets of paper…does anyone know what i’m talking about? it was great…you could submit a good phish stage shot and make it the size of your wall if you wanted to. anyway, anyone know of what i speaketh?
