A friend gave us a little vial of holy water from Lourdes that they brought back from France.

I say that is you mix even one drop of holy water with a gallon of heathen water, it automatically becomes holy water because of the power of the holy water molecule.

Marie seems to think differently because she said if that were the case, the evaporation from the Lourdes spring would automatically turn all the rain all over the world into holy water.

I said that proves my point to a certain extent since the Middle East gets little or no holy rain.

Anyone know the rules of holy water?

no, but I don’t think there is such a thing as the holy water molecule, it’s just blessed water by a priest. not some magical type of H2o

So i’m ridin the bus and sitting next to this Nun. She turns to me and asks “Have you heard the GOOD news?” I reply “no, what’s the GOOD news?” She says " You can find Jesus" I reply “sorry lady but i’m Jewish”. She says " you can still find Jesus if your Jewish" I finally reply

Tell you honestly, there was no one more Catholic than moi, up until ninth grade, that is. It was either one of the side effects of puberty, or the fact in ninth grade Archbishop Stepinac HS, I was traumatized by the brothers and the Jesuits who seemed to take way too much pleasure in throwing young boys around. You really couldn’t walk down the hall or eat your lunch without seeing some poor guy flying by you, with an irate holy person on their tail to inflict more “education”.

Taoism makes infinitely more sense because I can “practise” it without even thinking about it. Matter of fact, when you start thinking about it, you stop practising it.

I’m confused.

If Christians think the Jews killed Jesus, who do the Jews think killed Jesus? And wasn’t Jesus Jewish? The only thing I know is that Jews don’t think Jesus is the son of God.

I don’t know too much about religion if you can tell. I haven’t been to church since 1994 and I got a C- in my “Introduction to the New Testament” class in college.

I used to be a good Christian but that was only until I first heard Christian music. I concluded that only Satan himself could produce music so bad so I figured it was all a fraud.

i’m SO glad i wasn’t born into Catholicism. many of my friends were, and they just don’t have as much fun in life. they just don’t.

especially in the sex/masturbation area. poor bastards.

^Yeah, the catholics definitely miss out on a lot. I’ve got a friend who is very heavy into it and he’s quite sheltered in all that…doesn’t smoke, barely drinks and doesn’t party at all.

However, on the flip side he’s probably the kindest and friendliest person I know and has never said a mean word about anybody and doesn’t ever preach about his faith to anyone who doesn’t ask about it first. I’m on a totally different spectrum on faith from him and it’s never once come between us. He’s proof that faith can produce some really nice people if it’s practiced right…it’s those zealot jerks who use it to judge and hate on other people who ruin it.
