Any gamers up in this piece?

Did anyone here play the original Red Dead Revolver? I’m interested in Redemption but I figured I may play the first one beforehand. Any good?

I meant to reply to you earlier…but don’t buy it Steve-o…it’s not very good. If you want a decent Western themed game on the PS2 get Gun instead. It’s not great, but it’s a lot better than Red Dead Revolver.

Got a ps3 40g hdmi cable yesterday assassins creed 2. Couldnt get it to connect to the internet. Sat down today. Wrong cable connected. Don’t have wireless.

^ You got a PS3? Sweet man. Add me: Phish09

But it doesn’t have Wifi built in? I thought every model of the PS3 came with wifi. Mess around with your network settings, it has to be included. I’ve been playing the God of War collection, which is just GOW 1&2 remasted in HD. Super fun games, I can’t wait to play GOW3, but it’s probably going to have to wait. Definitely pick up Uncharted 1&2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet. Those are the games that make the PS3 worth owning.

It does have WiFi. I just dont have a wireless router. Yeah all I have is ac2 rightnow.next paychecki for rent and summercamp. Then ill be on to more games.

I got my router at Best Buy for $40 Fixed everything. PS3 is an awsome piece of equipment! I just don’t like listening to audio cds through it. I much prefer Cambridge Audio’s 500s cd player with a NAD receiver, and Monitor Audio fronts for listening to 44.1 .flac files. Other than that it’s like an adventure learning about PS3’s capabilities. We got a full size Bluetooth keyboard for it. Surfing the web on a big LED t.v. is most excellent!

I’ve already played it…I liked it quite a bit. I played it on the highest difficulty which makes some of the firefights a major chore where you needed mad strategy and find lots of cover to survive some of that stuff, especially the long trecks through the mine at the end which I must have played a million times.

Bad Company 2 is awesome.

I bought Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake yesterday, and I haven’t touched REd Dead yet, but all I can say is that Alan Wake is fucking scary. I only played through the first “episode” and I’m almost too scared to go back and play the second. I need someone to be sitting next to me or something. It’s not just cheap scares like in Dead Space or Resident Evil. This game gets inside your head and you get quite invested in the story right from the get go. I think maybe I’ll play like an “episode” a week and stretch this one out. Meanwhile, I can’t wait to start up Red Dead tonight.

Got the lost game, thanks will.
also alan wake. gonna have to throw that on the gamyfly q. love those scary games. the only game that really scared me was silent hill 2. walking through that ghost town fog, zombies anywhere, little things running in off into the mist. shivers down spine

Well, I’m nearing the end of my Rogue Galaxy RPG so I bought Zelda: Spirit Tracks for my DS. I’m sure its the same usual Zelda game with the same formula but I LIKE the same tired formula, dangit. I’ll probably try Portal next and then bust into some Zelda after that.

Well, beat Bad Company 2. Very short, but a lot of fun. One of these days I will get into online gaming.

I started up Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper. And well, if you though Lost was lame… yikes.

^ I really liked that Bad Company 2 campaign too. There are so many moments that really draw you in and make you feel like you are in the middle of this huge conflict. It doesn’t try to play you up as a hero that’s going to save the world…just another soldier. Because of that I think you feel this tighter connection to your squad that I never really got from the Call of Duty games. I also like that it is a lot less scripted than the COD games, and you feel like you have numerous ways you can attack certain scenarios. If you’re at all interested in trying the online portion, I’d highly recommend it. It feels very akin to the campaign in terms of the open battlefield environments that you tackle in your own way. It’s not a very difficult game to get into competitively either. I don’t think it has a very hardcore community the way that say Halo or the COD games do…at least not of the 360.

I can’t say I’ve ever even heard of that other game your playing…and that’s very strange, but you should just stop playing it and pick up Alan Wake. It’s got a really crazy story and I need someone to discuss it with.

New GD songs for Rock Band. time to break out the geetar again.

^ Really?! I’m on it. We should do up some RB over XBL one of these days Will.

I could only complete two of the six songs on guitar. They be hard! I need new batteries for my drums.

Scarlet Begonias and Touch of Grey were the ones I could do.

Throwing Stones was rocking, but the “ashes ashes” part came, and I went down in a blaze of glory.

I am almost sone with the call of duty series. Currently COD3… may be the hardeat one!

i had no idea about the new gd songs. i will be downloading those tonight.

i’ve been on a huge mw2 online kick as of late. i’m finally pwning the fuck out of some people and it feels good.
