I think Devin was being facetious when he said cell phones were just a “fad.”
There’s no way anyone could actually believe that.

That was Stevo man, not me.
Oh and a fact is that Hip Cancer is a new phenomenon that has only started ocurring since people have been carrying their cell phones around their waist. Look it up, it’s true.
My bizzad.
Umm…yes, I was joking about the “fad” thing…that’s my response whenever people ask why I don’t have a cell phone. And if it matters, I don’t have internet either…I post all this stuff during my lunchtime at work (I’d get internet before I got a cellphone). Heck, I didn’t even get cable until 2006 and that’s only because I was able to steal it. Considering I watch maybe five of the 70 channels I have now, the cost doesn’t seem very justified.
Overall, I STILL don’t see anything that justifies me paying close to $50 a frickin month to call people. If I’m at home, call my home phone, if I’m at work, call my work phone and if I’m out I probably am busy and don’t want to be bothered anyway. The only time it would be useful would be if my car breaks down but I still can’t justify paying $50 a month just for emergencies…if I was going to pay that much, I’d just get that OnStar stuff so then they could track my car and be alerted automatically in an accident. I’ve had my crappy cars break down a lot and it’s never been that big a problem to hike to the nearest store and use a payphone to call AAA. After all, people seemed to get by just fine before cell phones…
FIGHT THE POWER!!!
