Anything worth doing is worth doing ............

Well, most people know how this old adage actually ends, but this morning on my way to drop Nick off at the kennels, I thought about the last time I walked around DC in the late 60s and what my “frame of mind” was at the time. And that thought led me to this phrase which we made more ‘appropriate’ for the culture we lived in at the time, by choosing a very different qualifier to the end of it.

But there can be many ways to finish this phrase, and on my way out this morning, I challenge any of you to finish it anew, any way that you think might make it a wise, or wisecrack, adage.

Anything worth doing, is worth doing…

over and over and over and over and over and over again

high

half-assed.

Sober

…unless it seems like too much work.

In other words, what Brett just said.

…and so therefore was worth it afterward.

Spoken like a true newlywed.

Well if I’d been sober i would’ve sent them. That’s the great thing about Phish. Its one of the only concerts with enough merit (WAY more than enough) to warrant going sober.

^ So if your sober now, you can send them.

:shifty:

^How many times do you want to go through this… i make promises and break them!!

I can so easily right what has been wronged!!!

I probably should just send those discs
