To me, this song perfectly describes the beginning of Winter. I know that the lyrics refer to that, but are they only about that? I know that being from a colder Winter climate (Northern Illinois) provides the direct experience of the seasons changing from Fall to Winter. Northern dilemma for sure, but I enjoy Winter. I enjoy the full-brunt of all four seasons. It adds some change to each year.
I listened to this disc while backpacking in Wyoming the year it came out, and I loved the lyrics and their arrangement. “sit in a circle, facing (face in?) the sun…”
this is one of the weakest songs on undermind IMHO … i just can’t stand page’s voice on that one …
I love this song but I after hearing versions of Page playing this solo in some Vida blue concerts I dont think this album version does it justice. I really do not like Treys guitar work in this song. I wish it was just Page and his keys. It's a beautifull song then.My favorite track on the album!

Well, I’m kinda surprised you don’t like it so much. I think it’s really heartfelt, and the lyrics are really, really good… the music is nothing earthshaking but it’s not like Page writes that much music on his own.
My mom actually enjoys this song and she thinks Phish is horrible
