I had never seen this show. I knew of it, but I knew nothing about it.
Holy shit.
Jamie and I started watching last week. We’re a few episodes into season 2.
Incredible.
Literally laughing out loud constantly. (That really sums up the kinds of things I’m looking for in life.)
The netflix reboot is okay to bad… the original run is priceless.
Still need to watch Season 4. Don’t know if I’ll ever get there.
I’m always a little envious of anyone watching it for the first time, but the consolation, and good news for you, is that it is still laugh out loud funny after multiple viewings.
I was pretty floored by it the first time too. The first few seasons are awesome. The third one started to lose me for a while but I powered through and I thought it ended nicely.
Finished watching the series.
Original seasons 1-3: high quality. Anytime they talked about “hop ons” I laughed hysterically. Smiling about it right now. And the one armed guy the dad used to teach his kids lessons? Smiling more. As you know, the list of funny jokes could go on and on.
Season 4: Pretty good for picking it back up after so many years. The extended season 4 remix whatever thing is well done. Fun to pay close attention and try not to miss any of the interlocking hilarity.
Season 5: Not great, but had some good stuff. By the end, I could just say “meh” and turn it off.
And the one armed guy the dad used to teach his kids lessons?
Easily one of the best running gags on the show. I’m giggling just thinking about it.
