i think the sit down during hydrogen would be awesome, because then when fishman’s snare hit comes for 'paug everyone would jump back up in a frenzy, prompting mike to lay down the most dominant slappage ever

how often is hydrogen gonna be played though? i mean, i know this is phish 3.0 and all, but even before the breakup how often was it played compared to divided, reba, stash, et al?
^ Since 2.0 they’ve pretty much being doing the standard Mike’s Groove. And they played Mike’s Groove a shit load 2.0.
Nice. We’ve got some good competition going here. Keep the votes rolling in. If things stay this close I wouldn’t be totally against rolling out the Divided and Hydrogen efforts.
Let’s let this ride out a while. I’d like to see at least 30 votes before we make any decisions. I want to be sure we have the man power to make this happen. In that vain, if you are willing to pass out fliers and spread the word on the net, throw a post up. It will give us an idea of what we have to work with and it’ll help keep this thread toward the top of the list.

the hum makes the most sense to me. It will give us something to do while Trey does his rock star thing. And I think they’ll notice. So much better than just cheering during that pause.
“Sultaneous sit down” simply sounds awesome. Like, we’re all sultans and sitting down TOGETHER. How fucking cool would that be?

and, by the way, if i’m a nerd to think that it would be cool for 10,000 people to simultaneously enter into “conversation” with a group of musicians who thrive on the concept of communication, then pass me some spock ears.
I think we should probably stick with one. It’ll be alot harder to do the grassroots deal with 2 ideas. Better to focus on one idea. I came up with the Hydrogen sit down, but since everyone sitting down was in the Secret language maybe we should focus on the hum. It’s a pretty solid idea and would be pretty sweet during the silent section of Divided Sky instead of hearing screaming.
