time will tell fo sho

It’s Obama pulling away.

I’ve heard pundits say that if Hillary wins the nomination, she will most likely choose Obama as a running mate.

They did not believe that Hillary would accept the VP nod if she lost to Obama and he asked because she does not want to be in a “first lady” position again. Who do you think would be a good running mate for Obama if not Clinton?

Johnny Edwards.

Ralph Wiggum.

Gawd, I HOPE Obama don’t select Hillary. Since the VP position is a total joke anyway, I say select Oprah. He’ll win in a landslide. Heck, let her continue to do her show while she’s at it. What does it matter, the VP doesn’t do anything anyway.

Of course, Oprah would never take the pay-cut.

Stevo

^^^^^^^^that’s fucked.

i say Obama should select Ron Paul. can he do that? select a republican VP?

I’m all for this but it would likely never happen cuz his party would flip out. I’d have to say that Obama and Paul are easily the two most intelligent people in the election. The two together would be a good thing. At least ONE of them has a shot at maybe getting a nomination. Usually the smartest people are the first people to get knocked out of any election…

Stevo

yeah that seems to be the way it is.

if obama selected hilary as his running mate that would pretty much give away any shot at his presidency

Well, one thing you have to remember is that in the off-chance that the Prez dies, resigns, or is impeached (ALL of which has happened in the past 45 years), the VP assumes office.

^Yeah, and every time that happened, except for LBJ and Teddy, the VP who became the prez was a total lame duck. It still doesn’t matter.

Stevo

He

Anyone wonder that IF Obama gets the nomination, could he actually frickin win this? I mean McCain looks to be the guy to win (which is a big enough shocker in itself) but wouldn’t McCain’s age and his stance on continuing the war really flatten him? Could a black dude whose name rhymes with Osama actually win this thing? This isn’t the racist, single-minded, change-averse, pro-war country that I grew up in. What’s going on around here?

Stevo

Yeah, I’ve been seeing McCain a lot on TV lately and damn he looks old.

I just looked up how old he was…I thought maybe 65 or so.

HE’LL BE 72 COME NOVEMBER. My god. Obama’s got him by 25 years.

Obama would be the youngest president elected since JFK and the third-youngest ever.

And this is a bad thing?

Just signed up for the “Get Out The Vote For Barack” in VT, should be interesting and fun…

bwha!

No kidding … it would feel so ironic to me if we had President Obama in 2009, which is just next year.

In 2004 I thought there was no way the country would allow Bush to stay, and so I was kind of crushed when he was re elected. You broke my heart, America.

So this would just be like, … wt … wth … no, wtf! that’s right! f!

I mean, I thought I was supposed to get used to the idea that my fellow Americans were the sorta dudes that vote for GW Bush, not the sorta dudes that vote for the black guy whose name rhymes with Osama Hussein.

It’s so cool, yet mysterious. You know?

(No offense to any Bush voters who happen to be voting for Barack Obama. Or to anyone else, really either.)
