'beautiful' jam?

If you like that Simple jam than get yourself 8-3-97 Gorge. It is also one of those!

^^
Thank You!

I LOVE the earlier versions of Tela, IMO they are way better than the later versions. The second verse (I think) is what’s different and it’s got a really nice groove to it.

^^ Nothing wrong with either.
I used to say they should bring back the slow rift ending of Curtain and they did. Now i appreciate both!

I was about to say that too… I just listened to it.

12-29-94 bowie around the 20 minute mark. once page comes out of the crazy jam and just solos beautifully on the baby grand, and then trey solos right after…i love it. and i agree when you guys say just about every reba, slave or coil.

I can’t pull anything out of a hat here but the C&P jam, 7-29-03, you know that beautiful solo in there. I also find McGrupp to be a particularly beautiful song… like the 6-18-94 before the Tweezer, great placement. Pages solos are often what make a song/jam beautiful for me… Lizards, Yem, the aformentioned McGrupp. The Simple from Hampton 98’ is up there… last 5min of 2-28-03 Gin… ummm many others…

waahhhooooooo!!!

hell yeah on the 6/18/94 pre-bowie… mind left body jam!

definitely another really beautiful mind left body inside the scent from 8/17/97…
actually, one of my favorite jams i’m surprised it doesn’t get talked about more often.

I like the jam in Twist from 11/29/03
Any Reba but IT Reba in particular
Simple from 11/21/98
I am hydrogen from 11/28/98 (Best one EVER! My wife walked to that at our wedding)
Many Harry Hoods

bla bla bla… PHISH RULES!!!

wolfman’s 3-1-97…that beautiful mike led funk jam. also the tweezer from alpine 98 comes to mind right away…some very pleasent, pretty jammin goin on there.

Gumbo Deer Creek 98. After the 5 minutes of Manteca tease they flow into a smooth R&B type jam that melt’s you. The year before during the Cities jam part 3 i call it. It almost sounds like a Listen to the Music jam by the Doobies. Most beatifuficious i do say.

i was listening to this yesterday. the two songs tha came to mind was this 12.29.94 bowie, and 8.17.97 bathtub gin (as i’ve ranted and raved about forever).

but i love slaves(12.7.97or ALO), simples(ie 8.15.98), hoods(11.19.92), and coils(ALO). they overall are the most beautiful jams to me.

Edit: the Scents & Subtle Sounds from Alpine '04 also gets me, i dont know if it’s because i was there and completely remember it or what.

speaking of beautiful jams, i just got in the mail my copy of The Allman Bros. Instant Live 8/28/05 in VT. Trey guests on Mountain Jam and it is a half hour of bliss…Trey + Derek Trucks + Warren Haynes = the shiznit!

HOLY SHIT!!! I can’t imagine. Is there any way you can host that on some website for the rest of us to hear…?

i’m fairly certain thats its illegal (it says so on ABB website). the only thing i can think of is to order it through the site or i could do a trade…hit me up if you’re interested.

that does sound friggin beautiful Taboot…

you’re right about ABB, they don’t like this whole online sharing/trading thing…I had to pull some strings* to get a copy of their show from Roo last year

    • ie trade the old fashion way, which, no, you should not do with yem

still, after hundreds of listens, i have to say the jam out of reba at the garden in 95 is the most mind-numbingly beautiful 8 minutes of phish i have ever heard

i’m listening to that stash from vegas '97 again. simply a beautiful jam.

the “Twist” that just came on my itunes.

i think it’s from 6/14/00 in Japan.
