'beautiful' jam?

12-31-98 Mikes Song = absolutely beautiful

Just checked out this thread…GREAT CHOICES in here, I totally feel that Chalkdust, definitely glorious jamming…but my vote HAS to the the LEMONWHEEL Simple…Trey is hitting every note perfectly and gives me chills every time…I have an AUD of the 1st set and a guy yells out after the song “WE LOVE YOU, TREY!!”…brings tears to my eyes

6-20-97 set 1 between every song! best 1st set ever?
and 6-25-97 set 2, DWD thru makisupa- the rest of the set is throwaway.
the first “beautiful jam” i ever got excited about: a friend taped 11-8-91 and i got a copy once he got back- during weekapaug right before the bucket/slice part-all 4 are just going off… i knew then that this was the band for me :o

i like the jam in Ghost a lot. Fluffhead jams might be my favorites. Also another good gumbo version is the Lemonwheel one.

a good jiboo is all i need sometimes, 10/10/99 and 9/15/00 are good examples

gota jiboo?

oh come on

sorry, man…thats yer opinion…i didnt mean to shoot it down…but i hardly consider jiboo to be beautiful…in fact i hardly consider jiboo at all.

hey, it’s one of the tracks that hooked me to the band, can’t fake it

i guess it really doesn’t fit under this category tho…

how about the Hood from 2/28/03, I know the rest of the show is insane but that second set closer melted my face.

i aint bout the post hiatus.

thats just how i roll.

definitely wish i got to see more shows than the 2 i saw in '04. I can totally understand how older heads aren’t down with the PostHiatus…I sort of worked my way backwards…wish it was the other way around, mos def

post hiatus is great if that what you like…ive heard some great shit from that era but it just doesnt hit me and suck me in like the 90’s phesh.

totally, 2 different eras

Posthiatus almost seemed forced…mid 90’s the jams just came naturally, so smooth

3/22/93 REBA was one of the first times i really sat back and realized how connected these guys were with themselves and the fans. granted it was one of the first Reba’s i heard but breathtaking nonetheless

there are many here who went the same route. no shame in it son.

not me, of course :stuck_out_tongue:

1994-05-28 The YEM with Les Claypool. Just listened to this and WOW, this definately goes into this category. That bass duel was crazy as is this whole YEM

^^nice man, better late than never, right?

Tweezer , Raleigh 99!

When jams form Ghost are spoken of i immediately think about the LP 11 release, 11/17/97 i think

^ Stop thinkin and start colectin. More shows that is.

This thread smells like n00bz.
