I always find myself skipping over '96. 11/08 simple is great, the night before has a killer gin and YEM, 11/02 has some awesome stuff, and obviously the Ball and Ween are great. But what is some recommended listening for '96, I have all of it, just don’t know quite what to listen to. I appreciate it guys.

Night 1 at the Fleet Center
11-15-1996 is great in my opinion
Don’t forget Seattle with a great first set “Theme” and a nice, jammy second set.
11/7 Gin…best part of any '96 show imo.
^ Yeah, that whole Pac NW/Vancouver run between 11/22 and 11/27 is HOT!
8/12 & 8/13 - Deer Creek (both shows excellent)
8/14 - Hershey (!!!)
10/18 - Pittsburgh (set 2, one of my faves)
11/16 - Omaha (could be my favorite of the fall, besides Vegas)
11/18 - Memphis (set 2!)
12/4 - San Diego (nice SBD)
12/6 - Las Vegas (CLASSIC)
“You are correct, sir!”

12/29/96 is not too shabby as well
7-12 for sheer quirkiness.
11/27/96
i’m a big fan of this second set
8/13 Deer Creek is sick, probably my favorite Mike’s Song of all time, such a great, original jam. The AC/DC Bag and Lizards from that disc are hot too.
True that, one of my favorites discs in the entire LP series!
Does anyone know what they are playing at the start of set 2 before it goes into AC/DC bag? 8/13 is of course what I’m talking about. It’s really slow and mellow and kind of sad. anyone?
I think it is just Trey and the band messing around and/or tuning? Do they tune to start second sets? Either way, I don’t think it is anything in particular. Could be wrong, though.
yep, pretty sure it’s just them messing around… not tuning, i know that. if it’s anything in particular, i’d be very surprised
It sounds like it has a melody and like they all know what they are playing…It sounds familiar to me.
I think it was just something Trey made up while messing around, and the rest of them followed along for a few seconds before they started AC/DC Bag.
I got this one not to long ago. Can’t believe no one has mentioned this show, its smokin
