Awesome news. i just wish they had Jimmy. Caught Panic last year for the first time since he joined up, and while he wasn’t fully clicking with them yet, he absolutely RIPPED on the guitar. He is one of the best players I’ve ever seen live, and I’ve seen Trey, the Who, the Stones, McCartney, Iron Maiden, Velvet Revolver, and many others. Probably performed better than any artist I’ve seen other than Trey at the Fox in '05 and at the Tabernacle in '06. Also I LOVE his gear. I’ve been playing American Stratocasters with two humbuckers for years now, and he’s the first person I’ve seen with nickel covered buckers in his strat. It looks awesome!! Especially the three-tone sunburst. But anyway, I love it when these old bands realize what a great thing they had and how they don’t have forever to play together. Zeppelin hopefully will be reconciling for an album and regular touring soon, and it’s great that Bobby and the PHIL got their disagreements worked out. I hope they have a tribute to Jerry every show similar to how Phil does the donor rap every show, to pay tribute to the person who is mostly responsible for what the Grateful Dead did.
