Fubar: Balls to the Wall
the original movie is funnier but this one’s enjoyable as well.

Great recommendation. This documentary blew my mind!
I think all of the ESPN 30 for 30s have been added to Instant. Just watched June 17, 1994, and I love the style of Brett Morgan where it is all found footage. (check out The Kid Stays in the Picture for sure).

I think the most shocking thing is the lack of acknowledgement of what happened in Milwaukee, WI on that night.
I LOVE that OJ doc. Easily one of my favorites from that series. There’s no voiceovers or interviews…it’s all just footage and the music is really excellent. Extra kudos for the Talking Heads at the end.
It was incredibly rough watching Arnie hit shot after shot… after shot… after shot… after shot.
That was my 7th birthday. Great Phish show in Milwaukee that day.
watched a couple months ago, I feel like Robbie and Levon were splitting hairs on this specifically, but I can’t remember who was on which side of the fence

Yeah, very true though he’d been a shell of himself for a while. Thetoughest are his interviews after he finishes and he’s all choked up. Even more surreal is the OJ/Arnie commercial at the end where OJ looks like he’s about to get violent with him. Kinda weird seeing it now.
Even if you’ve seen A Fish Called Wanda before, like the Princess Bride, it’s always worth watching again. The writing, directing and performances are just too wonderful not to revisit. Watched it again the other night as a Netflix stream and I was laughing like hell all over again.

Gotta go with Breaking Bad…Started watching 2 weeks ago and am caught up to the current season…Fantastic show if you’ve never watched. Or am I the only weird one??
Breaking Bad did not float my boat.
It def. started out really slow. Honestly I didn’t love it for a while, but had friends telling me how good it was so I continued watching. It is def worth watching if you have the time to make it to the great stuff.
Breaking Bad did not float my boat.
First person I ever heard say that. Ever.
That’s strange…I caught the first three or four episodes of Breaking Bad and thought they were pretty engaging. I’m not sure why I didn’t keep watching but I just kept forgetting when it was on and before I knew I’d missed the entire first season. Now it seems like too much to catch up on.
I have loved Troll 2 for years (which is also streamable), but I finally watched Troll yesterday. Pretty terrible movie, and not even in the “so bad it is good” camp as Troll 2.
But I just have to point out, the main characters name (father/son) is Harry Potter Sr/Jr.
I found that interesting.
Been obsessed with this lately.

Anybody discovered any new good stuff? Seems like I’ve covered most of the TV shows that folks think are worth a shit on there…been watching Trailer Park Boys for a few days, need a break I think, they haven’t any many good movies in a while
Full Tilt Boogie is an excellent documentary on the making of From Dusk Til Dawn (which I think is streamable as well, and amazing).
Life With Murder is a semi-decent, interesting documentary.
See my recommendation above you …
