Yeah, Tela… never got that one either… and I never got a Lizards… Too many good ones.
Guess I got on the wagon a bit too late for the early stuff… now I just live the shows vicariously through my collection. (did I spell vicariously right… shit, I don’t care…)

Col. Forbin, Lizards, Fee are three that I always kept my ears open for the beginning of, but never got them.

I never saw Phish life, so I know this thread isn’t designed for me and my other second generation Phish brothers and sisters, but I would have killed to see a jammed out ‘Piper’ and ‘Ghost’ live.
Gotta agree with the “Ghost” selection.
Saw a great “Piper” at my second show 9/23/00 Rosemont, complete with lots of glowrings. That was probably the highlight of the show for me. Number 2 would be a tie between “Mike’s Groove” and “Reba.”
I know it’s far-fetched but I would really loved to have seen an “Alumni Blues.” It’s just one of those old tunes that got lost in the rotation.

I am surprised there are so many “Lizards”… Just my view, but I never really thought of that as too much of a rarity…
I will also throw a vote in for “Alumni Blues”, I saw the Helping Phriendly Band perform it… But that does not count for anything.
peaches en regalia gets my vote…mcgrupp comes in a close second. harpua/fortins/destiny would have been cool but i really dont care that i never saw one.

Yeah, “Ghost” is my number 1…I’ve seen 1 “Piper” and was just commenting on it…I’ve never seen “Reba” or “Mike’s” and they both are tied for runner-up spot to “Ghost”

corbin->mockingbird comes is a wonderful second. and yeah, tela would have been wonderful. and fluffhead. and harpua. but none compare for me.

the version that opens 10/31/95 was one of my earlier phish experiences and to this day it can still drive me into an absolute frenzy to the point that i want to cry.
oh, i would have also loved to have seen fishman perform “cracklin’ rosie” – an amazing song and one that was destined to be performed by fish.

I saw the first “Harpua” performed since 11.2.98. I didn’t realize it at the time, but when I found out it made it that much more special.
