So i couldn’t help but notice on NYE that Trey’s guitar looked like it was dark blue or something during the 3rd set.
and only during the 3rd set.
I was on the side of the stage behind Fish so I didn’t get a lot of clear looks at his guitar but when i did (trampoline, etc.) it looked blue.
and i can’t find any clear photo evidence because it looks like it could have been the lights.
but the lights are always crazy?
anybody else notice this or was my lot fruit smoothie dosed last night?
I am hearing rumblings of this too, but I heard it was the green doc that he used at Fenway. Not sure. Some said there was a switch in the Rock and Roll jam, which was the beginning of the second set and someone even said there were TTE teases. I’m not sure about this as I haven’t heard the show yet, but anywho apparently there was some guitar switch. When it was I’m not sure. Could’ve been for the 3rd set, but you never know he could’ve broke a string on his regular Doc and stuck with the replacement for the remainder of the show.

i saw him switch guitars for sure. i can’t remember when though.
switched guitars from the OG 'Doc sometime in the beginning of set 2 to the Green one… and i cant really find any TTE teases in any jams, but they could be there.
He switched them for the second set. And kept the green junt out there for the rest of the night. I don’t know why. He did it in Cinci because he broke a string, but the OG doc came back for the second set that night. Maybe he just likes the sound of the green one, it sure as fuck looks cool.
