Bonnaroo '07

Damit Grabs, you have to make me look like a moron don’t you?
Well, you don’t, I do a pretty job of doing that myself.

Never mind any of my previous posts.
Except the one that says i’m going to 10LKS. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry Bri!

If someone paid you to be on top of music news and trivia you would punk everyone as well!

Tennessee sucks in the summertime. (sorry, lame reference)

I almost went in '03 with a buddy, but he came back with horror stories. On top of that, I’m not too fond of large crowds.

yep, im going again this year (if that lineup holds up)

Tennessee does NOT suck in the summertime!!! Maybe being in a field of a farm… but Tennessee rules in the summertime. And the fall. And winter and spring.

And the lineup is true. I just talked to one of the leaders at AC Entertainment. They are kind of upset because they worked very hard to build this lineup, and that kind of “busted their bubble”, because they look forward to announcing it. It was actually kind of sad talking to Lila. She was pretty damn upset. But nonetheless, it is true.

Well that lineup looks AMAZING to me.

so of course, most of you guys will probably go “bonnaroo’s lame as coachella, give me Waka/10klf/etc.”

I’d take the former 2 any day, but each to his own. I totally see why you wouldn’t go, not a whole lot of jam.

That is a pretty good lineup, I’ll admit, but I do not take back anything about it being too big. That’s just too many fucking bands even if it is spread out over four days. And I guarantee you’d have to choose between seeing one band over another, and I can’t do stuff like that. Plus I’m an antisocial introvert and I can’t take that many people.

I took my daughter to Smilefest last year and can’t wait to go back. Can’t beat 3k people, great music, and North Carolina.

As far as Bonnaroo goes, I went to the innaugural and while it was amazing, I’ve never had the urge to return. I just had this sinking feeling it would never be the same…and from the majority of the people I’ve talked to who returned another year or two since, I was right.

I agree Greg, Bonnaroo is too big for me.

However, Warped Tour is really fun for me. Dig the music (of course), and having to make your way through the mess of people is entertainment in itself.

Now jambase has it and relix. It’s out. And it’s fuckin’ good! Sucks for the leaders of AC/Superfly that it got leaked. It was a kid on the proboards-inforoo website that figured it out and leaked it, so AC went ahead and told everybody. They’ll wait to put it up on the Bonnaroo site, though.

Damn I’m excited!!

120 days!

The Police

bonnaroo will be a blast for the folks that attend…the lineup is superior and I can’t imagine it being a bad time… With so much good music going around this summer, its hard to map everything out and make set in stone plans. If your camping with the right crew, almost any festival will do.

I don’t feel that the bigness of bonnaroo makes it suck, I think it creates a wider range of diversity and allows the attendants to possibly experience more then what there used too. The one big bummer of a huge event is the traffic and the time it takes to get set-up… After that everything is gravy for the most part.

That’s the way to do it! I couldn’t imagine it getting much better then that.

i enjoyed being able to watch this on the internet, and will do so again if att/blueroom streams it.

Looks like a pretty sweet line up.

I love the addition of Tool.

200$ :o

That’s ridiculous.
Concerts are WAY to expensive, and it keeps getting worse.

I’d love to go to this, but I wouldn’t be able to see even HALF the bands on this list.
There are to many and most probably playing at the same time.

I average around 13-16(at very best) shows a festival. Sometimes when your favorites are playing on top of each other, you have to sacrifice half of each show. It’s DEFINITELY worth it!

Definitely worth it. Seems like a lot of money, but even if you take your sweet ass time and see 10 bands you got your moneys worth.

I was referencing a Ryan Adams song.

oh. well he sucks for singing that.
