this saturday late night show is going to be sick, if you’re a fan of hip-hop at all.
I just realized I have to stay away from the woods this time! I got very, VERY BAD poison oak last time I went to Bonnaroo in '05 and it pretty much ruined the last half of the festival and the ride home for me. So painful and gross.
i didn’t know there were any woods at Bonnaroo.
this is going to be my 4th year and i don’t think i’ve set foot in any kind of woods or natural shade besides the clouds the entire time.
but anyway…Galactic late night’s great. I remember last time they did a late night B-Roo set they brought out the dirty dozen and RAGED all night.
BUT they conflict with what i anticipate as the two best sets of the weekend, which unfortunately conflict with each other. And of course i’m talkin’ bout late night Lips and late night Mule!
i’ll probably start with the Lips and see what happens but i’ll definately try to catch some Mule. They were sick at Wanee this year and Warren was great on the Phil webcast the other night so i’m really feelin’ some Mule right about now.
So where’s the roo meetup taking place and when?

But this is coming from a guy who was obsessed with Zeppelin as much as most of us are/have been with Phish in highschool. I still fucking love 'em. I never could burn those guys out, just like Phish. To get to see John Paul Jones would make my year. Seriously.

on a side note, i got to see Jimmy Page one time on the tour he did with the Black Crowes a while back. One of the best parts about it was that i didn’t even know i was going. I was young as fuck; like 14, MAYBE 15, and i was visiting cousins in the Pittsburgh area when Page & Crowes came to Star Lake and my cousin and his friends, being huge Zeppelin and Crowes fans were going, and me, being a sturdy Zeppelin and Crowes fan, went with them. Anyway, it was sick.
