I think this could probably be funny. They were funny before. They’ve both been lots of places and done lots of things since their early days. (Cheech’s activities being more on the mainstream up-and-up and not including a ridiculous stay in prison.) Being 62 and 70 years old they have seen lots of things to make jokes about. They say they’ve worked out their shit from the past. I don’t know if I’m buying tickets, but an eventual DVD would be watchable.
Considering how much work Chong’s been getting lately and the fact that he was in jail makes me pretty sure that it definitely IS for the money. Oh well. The dude’s gotta buy his pot somehow.
