Chemical Brothers LIVE

OK so i just saw these guys for hte first time last night at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC

fuckin amazing. it was defenitely one of my top 3 shows of all time, the most intense show i’v ever seen w/o a doubt. The light/video/laser show was just unbelievable. I’m sure some of you UK’ers have somethin to say about this band. but i just feel like i have an entirely new appreciation for the band now.

Also, i tried Hawaiian Baby Woodrose for the first time so that probably added to the amazingness of it. But honestly, this was thus far the best night of my life.

I really can’t describe it. The light show was like goin on a journey through another world. I’m sorry to compare and i hope people dont get pissy at me for it, but as far as visuals go, it just blows ck5 away. I mean, i love chris and everything he’s done w/ phish, and it really is amazing what he’s done w/ light shows, but this chem bros show last night was just on another level entirely.

you lucky son of a shittin asshole.

just heard the new album a day or three ago actually…i give it a B-.

there are some vids from teh show for y’all to feast on.

I’ve always been a fan of some kind of techno-ish stuff but I’ve never seen one of these bands. That stuff has GOT to be a trip…

I was quite fortunate to see the Chemical Brothers on their frist American tour 11 years ago…at the Bomb Factory in Dallas to boot to boot. Their light show was freakin amazing (and yes, it totally blew anything CK5 did…but it’s all automated to the music, so technically it’s computer driven). Their music touched my soul. One of the best live acts I’ve ever seen. I was literally blown away. And…The Orb opened the show!
