All you guys and gals that live in or near the Chicago area, head out to this show next Saturday. I’m good friends with this band and have played with them before…and they’re worth every penny to go see!!!

Their lead-guitarist is Jason Fladager, formerly of the Big Wu, and the rest of the band is filled out with all TOP-NOTCH musicians. If you have the means, GO TO THIS SHOW. They’ll toss in some Phish (played Lizards for the first time last night, two thumbs up!), some spot-on Talking Heads, some Ween, always great covers. But their original songwriting will impress the most. They ROCK hard and can melt faces…trust me.

They played in my home town last month and it was definitely sweet. The “Theme from the Bottom” they played was awesome, but, like Tube said, their orginals are excellent as well.

That’s a sports bar right by Wrigley Field. Hmm…
Not sure how it will sound.

No.

I got home late. I was out in the boondocks by my Aunt’s house and didn’t get back in the city til 1
I’ll just have to wear a cup on NYE. :-/

They sound good from what I heard on their myspace, I definitly keep my ears open for them.

^ nah, they really only play regional shows. the lead guy jason toured with the big wu for YEARS and has a kid and wife now, i don’t think he (and maybe the others in the band) can/want to be on the road…so they stick to playing around the midwest and have quite the fanbase up here. but they rock hard!!! they play every wednesday at the cabooze here in minneapolis…nice to have that weekly show to go to…good community.

i actually got to sub-in for jason a couple weeks ago while he was off in japan for halloween with the Wu. playing with those guys is unlike anything i’ve ever done, TOP NOTCH players who are always right behind you. i got to play cities and psycho killer with’em…sick jam on killa. so fun.
